Using every welding technique, we weld both polyethylene (PE, LDPE, HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) — strongly, safely and in an environmentally friendly way.

- PE
- The most widely used plastic in the world: strong, tough, recyclable and resistant to chemicals, acids and alkalis.
- PP
- Exceptionally strong, antibacterial and highly resistant to acids and stress corrosion. Floats on water.
Welding techniques
- Butt welding
- Sheets up to 4 metres and pipe up to Ø 800 mm, without welding rod.
- Extrusion welding
- Skilled work for special joints and hard-to-reach places.
- Hot-air welding
- With hot air and welding rod, for small welds and repairs.

Questions about KLV
What does KLV make?
Kunststof Lastechniek Verbakel (KLV) designs and welds custom plastic products in PE and PP: tanks, containers and drip trays, grease separators, chambers, air scrubbers, swimming pools and special projects. Everything is made in our own workshop in Sint-Oedenrode (NL), since 2005.
Which plastics does KLV weld?
We weld polyethylene (PE, including LDPE and HDPE) and polypropylene (PP). Both are resistant to chemicals, acids, alkalis and solvents; PP also offers excellent resistance to acids. We are happy to advise you on the material that best suits your application.
Which standard does KLV weld to?
We weld to the German industry standard DVS 2212. We butt weld sheet material up to 4 metres, and saw and butt weld pipe up to Ø 800 mm.
Does KLV also make one-off products?
Yes. By far the majority of our assignments are custom work: from a single unique product to series production.
