What is the maximum capacity of a plastic tank?
KLV builds tanks from 120 litres up to 30 m³. Larger tanks are made in segments. There are no standard sizes: you decide the shape, capacity and connections.
Is a tank better made of PE or PP?
That depends on the application. We make tanks from PE (HDPE) or PP; both resist chemicals, acids, alkalis and solvents, and PP has excellent resistance to acids in particular. We are happy to advise you on the right material.
Which welding method and standard does KLV use for tanks?
We weld tanks using butt welding and extrusion welding, in accordance with the industrial standard DVS 2212. We butt weld sheet material up to 4 metres; extrusion welding is the method for non-standard constructions and hard-to-reach places. The welds are just as strong and load-bearing as the rest of the product.
What does KLV need to quote for a tank?
Tell us what you need: the more we know about dimensions, material and quantities, the faster and sharper our quotation. Send your requirements or drawing via the quote form or by email. You can also specify features such as a double wall with insulated interstitial space, compartments, a manhole or a drain.
