Frequently asked questions

Questions about air scrubbers and process installations

How tall can an air scrubber be?

We build air scrubbers from individual components up to installations several metres high. For one of our clients we made a scrubber that stands 6 metres high in total, thanks to the combination of its components.

What material is an air scrubber made of?

We make air scrubbers in PP, and control and dosing cabinets in PP and PE. PP is one of the best plastics for welding and has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents.

What else does KLV make besides air scrubbers?

We manufacture, weld and assemble extraction cabinets, and make control and dosing cabinets, for example for IBCs. We also make ventilation bends and ducts in PP, including large diameters.

How are extraction cabinets welded?

We weld extraction cabinets using hot-air welding, among other methods: a welding nozzle with a welding rod of the same material as the parts gives a strong weld. Hot-air welding is suitable for all thermoplastics. You can see this in a video on our website.
